Place Category: Things To Do, Antigua Beaches, and Beaches South

  • Rendezvous Bay is one of the most gorgeous spots on Antigua.  They say nothing worth having is easy to get, and this beach proves it.  It’s a 30-to-40 minute walk to get there, but well worth the trip.  The beach is secluded and thus extremely uncrowded, so bring your own food and beverages.  The sand is soft, the water is crystal-clear, and the views are unmatched.

Start on the road from the capital, St. John’s, heading toward Falmouth.  Once in Falmouth, watch for Farrell Avenue and turn right.  Watch for the signs to Spring Hill Riding Stables and turn right.   Park off the road there and proceed up the hill.   The road will make a right-hand turn at a white house, and just to the right of the white house the path begins.  Walk for a half-hour and you’re at the beach.

Routinely rated as one of the Best Beaches in the Caribbean, Rendezvous Bay will fulfill every wish you ever had about a perfect tropical beach. Crystal-clear water, perfect soft sand, tropical foliage, palm trees, flowers and birds. This is about as good as it gets.
